Recognition, Progress, and Reflections
The progress made in November reinforces our commitment to public education.
Luiz Fernando is honored at the 2025 Equilibrista Awards – IBEF São Paulo:

On November 26, our president and founder, Luiz Fernando Figueiredo, was honored at the 2025 Equilibrista Awards – CFO of the Year, one of the most prestigious awards presented by IBEF São Paulo, which recognizes outstanding leaders in financial management and their contributions to the country’s economic development.
The honorees are selected by the IBEF board of directors and the award committee, based on careers that demonstrate a combination of technical impact, strategic vision, and commitment to Brazil.
Luiz Fernando received the honor alongside renowned industry professionals, reinforcing his role as a leading figure on the national stage.
For the Fefig Institute, it is a source of great pride to see our founder recognized for his career and dedication—values that also inspire the work we do in public education.

Steering Committee in Corumbá:
On November 27, we held another meeting that was essential for the progress of the Literacy Management Program / 360° Circuit in Corumbá.
In attendance were our executive superintendent, Mayor Dr. Gabriel, Secretary of Education Mabel, Deputy Secretary Gilson Pacola, the technical staff of the Municipal Department of Education, and a representative from the Acaia Pantanal Institute, the initiative’s funding partner.
The committee assessed the progress of the implementation, reviewed the initial measurable results in the municipality, and held a productive discussion on the next steps.
It was a pivotal moment for planning and alignment, ensuring that our work remains on solid ground and grows stronger as we look toward 2026.
Meeting with Secretaries in Santa Catarina:
On November 11, our superintendent attended the meeting of the Council of Municipal Secretaries of Education from the municipalities affiliated with GRANFPOLIS. Nineteen of the 22 municipalities were represented.
The agenda covered strategic issues related to early childhood education and literacy, with a focus on common challenges faced by the region. The meeting provided an opportunity to identify priority needs and strengthen coordination among local leaders, underscoring the importance of consistent, cross-sectoral efforts aimed at improving educational outcomes.
Another important step toward consolidating policies that bring together management, expertise, and a commitment to the future of children in Santa Catarina.

New episode of Café com LEPES:
On November 30, the LEPES-USP YouTube channel hosted our superintendent, Bartholomeu Silva, for an in-depth discussion on the implementation of educational projects in partnership with public school districts.
In the episode, Bartholomeu shared his experiences and reflections on key topics:
- Design and adaptation of educational programs
- The role and significance of actions in the daily life of social networks
- The balance between active listening and technical autonomy
- Building shared, sustainable, and measurable results

Giving Day 2025
This year, we took part in a campaign that brought people together around a simple goal: teaching a child to read for just R$50 per school year.
We are delighted by the enthusiasm of everyone who has joined this movement to raise awareness about the act of giving.
We invite our community to approach education with even greater sensitivity. Every child who reads, learns, and grows forges new paths—paths that have an impact on families, communities, and the entire country.
More than just numbers or goals, we celebrate solidarity, purpose, and the conscious choice to support causes that build a better future.
We thank everyone who walks alongside us and believes, just as we do, that education is the greatest tool for social justice.
Donate your income tax
We’re highlighting a simple yet transformative way to support public education: by allocating a portion of your income tax to our projects.
Individuals can allocate up to 6% of their income tax liability, and companies can also support us through the Rouanet Law, at no additional cost and with complete transparency.
It’s a direct way to help more children gain access to opportunities, learn at the right age, and build futures full of possibilities.
If you believe in the impact of education and want to strengthen initiatives that generate real results, consider making your donation this year.
Every gesture matters and can transform a child’s future.
