2nd Meeting of the Coalition of Municipalities – All for Education

OnOctober 14, our Executive SuperintendentBartholomeu Gomesattended thesecond in-person meeting of the “Todos Pela Educação” Municipalities Coalition.
The Coalition is an initiative that brings together27 third-sector organizations workingin partnership with Brazilian municipalities.
Together, these participating organizationsserve approximately 1,300 municipalitiesacross all regions of the country. The meeting celebratedthe first anniversary of the Municipalities Coalition, attended by24 partner organizations, and served as a forum for exchanging experiences, aligning efforts, and definingjoint action plans for 2026. Thiscollaboration reinforces the collective commitment to strengthening educational management and improving the quality of literacy in public school systems.

Training of Early Childhood Education Instructors – GRANFPOLIS (SC)
OnOctober 8 and 9, the4th Training Workshop for Early Childhood Education Trainers was held in Santa Catarina.
The topic covered wasandragogy—that is,strategies and techniques focused on adult education. Theaim of this training wasto empower the trainersso they can conduct increasingly productive, efficient, and effective sessions with groups of early childhood education teachers from the17 partner municipalities.
This training session underscored the importance of ongoing professional development, highlighting the strategic role of trainers inimproving teaching practices and enhancing children’s learning.
Strategic Planning with LEPES (USP Ribeirão Preto)
OnOctober 24, a strategic planning meeting was held between theFefig Institute and LEPES(Laboratory for Studies and Research in Social Economy at USP) in Ribeirão Preto.
In attendance were our Executive Superintendent, professorsDaniel Santos and Luiz Scorzafave, as well asCamila, Júlia, and Wallacy, members of the LEPES team.
During the meeting, the two institutions discussedplans for the joint implementation of the Early Childhood Education Improvement Program, with the aim ofstrengthening existing centers and planning for expansion to new centers and municipalities.
The partnership between the Fefig Institute and LEPES reinforces the commitment to usingscientific evidence in the formulation and implementation of public education policies.

Steering Committee in Maraú (BA)
OnOctober 29, thefirst Steering Committeemeeting was held for our new partner municipality,Maraú (BA).
Although the municipality still faces many challenges, the team atthe Municipal Department of Education, led bySecretary Luiz Gustavo, has shown a strong commitment totransforming the local literacy landscape.
It was a very important strategic moment forstrengthening the partnership between the Fefig Institute and the municipality,as well as for discussing and making decisions regarding the indicators monitored under the 360° Circuit Program – Literacy Management.
This first committee marks the beginning of a process aimed attransforming and strengthening literacy policies, with a focus on improving educational outcomes and the professional development of local teams.

Charities: All for All
Charity: "All for All" is a new initiative born out of a partnership between theFefig Institute and Turma do Jiló, with the aim of fostering aculture of giving and social engagement in the daily life of schools.
Aimed atstudents in their final years of elementary and high school, the program offerstraining, hands-on experiences, and practical projects that address social causes, bridging the gap between theory and action.
The goal isto foster social-emotional skillssuch as empathy, active listening, critical thinking, leadership, and collaboration, thereby empoweringyoung people.
The methodology involvespartnerships with community organizations and local initiatives, with activities carried out directly in schools.
The goal isto gradually expand to 40 schools, with the potential forreplication and systemic impact.
Moreover, the initiative aimsto influence public policyso thateducation on organ donationis incorporated into school curricula across the country.
This project is based on the work ofTurma do Jiló, which has already reached more than 260,000 people, and on the track record ofthe Fefig Institute, which has already reached hundreds of thousands of students in dozens of Brazilian municipalities.
