Partnership with GRANFPOLIS
We are excited to share the news of our partnership with the Association of Municipalities of the Greater Florianópolis Region (GRANFPOLIS), an alliance that is transforming education in 22 municipalities in the metropolitan region of Florianópolis!
Since 2021, the Fefig Institute has been operating in the region with the Literacy Management Program, which directly benefits 6,451 students from 1st to 5th grade in 12 municipalities. Recently, we expanded our activities with the Early Childhood Education Quality Improvement Program , serving 14 municipalities, 140 schools, and impacting 16,900 students aged 0 to 6 years old.
Today, our projects impact a total of 14 municipalities and 23,351 students in the Greater Florianópolis region!
Meeting with the Executive Board of GRANFPOLIS (Visits and Strategic Meetings)

Our Executive Superintendent, Bartholomeu Eneias Gomes da Silva, together with technical agent Risália Calasans and GRANFPOLIS education advisor Bianca Silveira da Rosa, held an important meeting with Marius Bagnati, Executive Director of GRANFPOLIS, Gilberto Brasil, and the Administrative and Financial Director. The meeting highlighted the importance of GRANFPOLIS as a partner in political coordination with mayors, helping to overcome the challenges faced by municipal early childhood and early years education networks.
Development of Guidelines for the First Strategic Plan for Early Childhood Education (Workshops and Planning)
On October 24 and 25, secretaries of education and early childhood education coordinators from the municipalities of Águas Mornas, Anitápolis, Antônio Carlos, Biguaçu, Garopaba, Paulo Lopes, Palhoça, Rancho Queimado, São Pedro de Alcântara, Tijucas, São Bonifácio, and Santo Amaro da Imperatriz met with our team and education advisors to align the guidelines that will guide the development of a strategic plan aimed at improving the quality of Early Childhood Education in the municipalities of the Greater Florianópolis Region. Based on the exercises carried out during these days, each municipality will conduct an individual reflective process to determine its priorities for the areas of Care and Safety and Learning in Early Childhood Education. The idea is that by the end of November, we will have a first systematic version of our 1st Strategic Plan for the Quality of Early Childhood Education in the municipalities of Greater Florianópolis.

Data Analysis and Evaluation of the Literacy and Early Childhood Education Program
