VISION AT SCHOOL PROJECT: DELIVERY OF GLASSES TO E.E. PAULO SETÚBAL
In May, the Vision at School Project provided care for 550 students at the Paulo Setúbal State School in São Paulo. Thanks to the generosity of two anonymous donors, we performed eye screenings on 469 students and detailed consultations for 110 of them. On May 28, we delivered the glasses free of charge, enabling these children to now see the world more clearly and participate fully in school activities.

STRATEGIC COMMITTEE AND VISIT TO THE MUNICIPALITIES OF GREATER FLORIANÓPOLIS
From May 20 to 23, our executive superintendent, together with technical agent Risália Calasans and GRANFPOLIS education advisor Bianca Silveira da Rosa, visited the municipalities of São João Batista, Tijucas, Rancho Queimado, and Alfredo Wagner. During these visits, we held meetings with municipal education secretaries and visited several schools to monitor the Literacy Management and Early Childhood Education Improvement Program projects.
On the 23rd, we hosted the Strategic Committee at the Association of Municipalities of the Greater Florianópolis Region, bringing together secretaries of education and coordinators from the 16 partner municipalities. We discussed the progress and challenges of the programs, with the valuable virtual participation of Júlia Córdoba from LEPES/USP. We took the opportunity to honor Antão David, an education advisor who retired after more than 20 years of dedication, presenting him with a plaque of recognition.

Negotiations for a project in Porto Alegre
Even before the recent disaster in Rio Grande do Sul, the Fefig Institute was already working with the Reciclar Institute to implement a pilot project in three schools in Porto Alegre. This project aims to develop social-emotional skills, technological education, and mental health among students in the final years of elementary school. We continue to monitor the situation so that we can start the project as soon as classes resume, helping to minimize the impact of the tragedy on the lives of children and their families.
