Special Edition – 2023 Retrospective
In 2023, we reached a total of 52,586 students, ranging in age from 0 to 14. Since our founding in 2018, we have served a total of 144,833 students.
Our work focused on the development of early childhood education, age-appropriate literacy, and the provision of appropriate eye care for children in partner networks.
We have helped improve the quality of early childhood education in a municipality in Brazil’s Northeast Region, impacting 2,511 children aged 0 to 5.
We have directly supported the literacy education of 47,625 children across 45 municipalities, including 17 in the Northeast, 15 in the South, 11 in the North, and 2 in the Southeast.
In addition, we provided provided quality eye care to 8,215 students in 8 municipalities in Rio Grande do Norte and one in São Paulo; of these, 5,397 were screened, 1,339 had consultations with an ophthalmologist, and 1,138 received their glasses free of charge from the Fefig Institute.
