Steering Committee in João Lisboa (MA)
Our superintendent Bartholomeu Gomes da Silva was in João Lisboa (MA) for an important moment in the implementation of the Literacy Management Program: the Management Committee. On that occasion, the mayor of the municipality, the Secretary of Education, the Deputy Secretary, and the President of the João Lisboa City Council, in addition to several school administrators, agreed on a joint commitment to reduce the number of students who are not yet literate as much as possible by the end of this year.

FeFiG Institute and BrazilFoundation
The Fefig Institute attended BrazilFoundation's VII São Paulo Gala, held on November 28 at the Rosewood Hotel (SP).
The event brought together supporters who collaborate in efforts to build a more equitable Brazil with more opportunities. "The meeting was an excellent opportunity to learn about the initiatives and projects that are highlights in the third sector," says Andrea Lopes Figueiredo, Director of Communications and Fundraising at the Fefig Institute.
SerTão Criança Program Management Committee in Patos (PB)
Luiz Fernando Figueiredo, president of the Fefig Institute, and our superintendent Bartholomeu Silva were in Patos (PB) for the meeting of the SerTão Criança Program Management Committee.
The meeting brought together the mayor, the Secretary of Education, the coordinator of the Early Childhood Education Center, managers from the Secretariat, the founder of LEPES, Daniel Santos, and his team.
It was a meeting to review the actions of this program focused on Early Childhood Education. We agreed that 2024 will be the year of implementation, in which we will strengthen the actions of the Action Plan aligned this year and continue to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education in the municipality.

INSIDE THE FEFIG INSTITUTE

We participated in a meeting at the headquarters of Liga Solidária, a traditional non-profit civil society organization (CSO) with 100 years of tradition, chaired by women since its foundation.
It was a very interesting exchange about early childhood and vocational courses for high school youth.
