Visit to the Gurupi, Tocantins, site of the Literacy Management Program

Luiz Fernando Figueiredo, president of the Fefig Institute, his son Eduardo, and our Executive Superintendent Bartholomeu Silva, made a two-day technical visit to the Gurupi Complex in southern Tocantins. On the first day, we visited the Cecília Araújo de Melo School in the municipality of Dueré. On the second day of the visit, we participated in the Management Committee meeting, attended by the secretaries and coordinators from the 11 partner municipalities. It was an opportunity to discuss the challenges, review and evaluate the actions carried out in the first half of the year, and plan strategic actions for the second half.

 Visit by the Executive Secretary of Education of São Paulo

We welcomed Vinicius Mendonça Neiva, Executive Secretary of Education for the state of São Paulo, to discuss ways to make the “Visão na Escola” Project a public policy of the state of São Paulo.
We also presented ideas for implementing the Reciclar Institute’s Public Education Support Program.

The "Vision at School" Project in Ituverava

In partnership with Renovatio, we brought the Vision at School Project to the municipality of Ituverava, São Paulo. See the table below for information on services available in the municipality:

Second Board of Directors Meeting – We held our second Board meeting, during which we reviewed our performance in the first half of the year and approved the plan for the second half. Many thanks to the board members for their attendance and for the important discussions that will guide our actions in the coming months
