Our team is dedicated to advancing the assessment of the Municipal Early Childhood Education Network in Patos, Paraíba, in partnership with the Laboratory for Studies and Research in Social Economics (LEPES), coordinated by Professors Daniel Santos and Luiz Guilherme Scorzafave, both Ph.D. holders.
In this phase, we conducted a critical review of the official documents provided by the Department of Education, identified the tools used by the school system, and determined which ones would be used in the assessment, in addition to selecting the team of evaluators and the sample of classes for data collection.
The Fefig Institute Will Have a New Home
- After four years at the Mauá Capital headquarters in São Paulo—in a space kindly provided for us to carry out our work—the new Fefig Institute office is nearly ready. This is a very important step in our institutionalization process. You’ll get to see our new home soon. Stay tuned!
Results in São Roque and Ituverava
- As part of the implementation of the Municipal Networks Program, in partnership with Parceiros da Educação, we already have the diagnostic assessment results for São Roque and Ituverava, in São Paulo. Conducted by the Department of Education with our support, the results will guide efforts to help students catch up on their learning in Portuguese and mathematics. The official release, led by Parceiros da Educação, is scheduled for November. The Fefig Institute will be following this important development.
2023: More Updates from the Fefig Institute
Our Executive Board is planning our activities for the coming year, with specific initiatives on three fronts:
• Implementation and scalability;
• Innovation;
• Donations and Social Investments.
We can already say that we will continue to focus on K-12 education, particularly on initiatives that promote literacy at the recommended age and employability among high school students. Stay tuned to our newsletter and the Fefig Institute’s social media channels.
New visual identity
We will soon have a revamped, modern visual identity that conveys our principles and values. It was created in partnership with Boldhub, a branding and design agency.
